EXCLUSIVE TURTLE TRIP

Description

This excursion into the Ionian Sea's dazzling blue waters from Zakynthos explores natural life. Observe local loggerhead turtles swimming in Laganas Bay from a specially designed glass bottom boat and enjoy views of Marathonisi, sometimes known as "Turtle Island" for its similarity to the adorable hard-shelled creatures. You may jump from the boat and into the clean waters at Keri Caves, where there are amazing rock formations.

You will be taken to Agios Sostis, where you may join our boat and get to know our skipper. You'll immediately set sail for the lovely inlet of Laganas in the southern part of the island, where you'll spend some time looking for the amazing loggerhead turtles, also known as "Caretta-Caretta" turtles, a rare animal that can live for up to 150 years while swimming in their natural environment. Then, after passing through the stunning shoreline, we'll take you to Marathonisi (Turtle Island), where you can witness turtle nests, before taking you to the Keri Caves. A swimming break will be provided by the skipper (1 hour to Marathonisi and 20 minutes to Keri Caves) so you may cool down in the breathtaking seas.
